My students have finished their piano exam last friday, i finally had time to go out for a meal with my group of close sisters, felt really relieved and happy, spent two hours at Yio Chu Kang Sakura, time seemed short with so much to talk about, don't know if other sisters felt the same way or could it be i was too concern about eating, too focus on eating haha! hope we always have such opportunity to see one another again. 05

Weishi and Liangyin invited choir members to their home for durian on 17 aug, also invited my hubby and i, not far from their door we heard the familiar voices of many brothers and sisters and smelled durian, once at the door we saw two loads of durians, moreover, they were D24.

It was not just durian that was really delicious, being able to eat durian and talk with brothers and sisters while watching the Olympics were great joy, thanks to Weishi and Liangyin for entertaining us the whole afternoon and even packaged the durian for us to bring home.

After that my hubby and i went to China ministry, before worship he led in the song rehearsal, due to overeating, he burped throughout, at the end, the singing members said, "no wonder there is durian smell," not only did we bring durian package home, we also brought durian smell to Church, 真的是有福同享，haha! 01

Hubby brought me to Arab street to buy these tambourines, although look small but sound loud and quite good, we want to use them in China ministry worship and praise.
Going to Arab street is mainly to buy tambourine, but was charmed by this place, some shops' decor are not bad, things are also not expensive, some are even at wholesale prices, saw many Japanese and Koreans, i felt as if i was in Bangkok shopping, my hubby said he brought me here for a day tour haha!
Because of time we did not walk for long, when we wanted to return, i discovered a few shops selling Swarovski crystals and beads.... wah! I shall go again. 02

What is most comforting and fulfilling today is daughters' steadfast belief, last year at the preschool sunday class, saw her and other kids getting along very well, last year end she told me she wanted to take up discipleship course, i was overjoy when i heard it, encourage her to attend, by now she has been attending for half a year, for this i give thanks, i pray to God to continue to guide her, leading her to be always God centred, this is my greatest hope for her. 0

Sister Shan Yong gave me a present, i like its retro design and colour with bible verse, even the paper bag belongs to the retro type, a beautiful match, thanks Shan Rong.
Received many small display items recently, looks like i need to buy a glass cupboard to specially display these small items. 0

Except for sunday service gathering, after which we go to the nearby coffee shop for lunch, on weekdays i have not met up with good friends for a long time, really very happy.

We have stayed here for three hours, time seems to fly, but today we gain a lot, what i am talking about is our bonding becomes stronger, not our stomach haha! 04

On Fathers' Day my hubby received a box of ferrero rocher, a gift from our precious daughter, this gift to my hubby is most important. 0

The place in Bangkok that left the deepest impression was Chatuchak where a few of the stalls selling animals, saw so many puppies reared in such small fence, and also squirrels' legs bound in another stall for people to view, some were even struggling, moreover saw hamsters reared in a fish tank, so many hamsters put together, how do they live harmoniously, seeing this, could not bear to look any longer, just took photos and went off. 03

This is what i bought from Bangkok this time and what i like most, is its floral fabric colour and it is practical, i have put it in the handbag for many years, especially my hubby has been using it, such a good thing is what i especially chose to prepare to give away as gifts to friends, some were chosen by my hubby, he has good taste, must be the influence from me haha! 05

On the night 8th june, returning from Bangkok, my leg was plastered with ten medical plasters, every foot i put down gave so much pain, i was wondering why i was so frail?
The previous time i went with Meiyan and the rest, didn't give such problem, just less than a year apart, don't tell me it is old age and i have to admit? haha!
Daughter told me in Bangkok "when you go back to Singapore please exercise", to think that these few months those long hours of sitting and teaching piano, likely to walk less, not to mention exercise, looks like i have no choice but exercise. 03

Tomorrow my hubby, daughter, her close friend Chunai and i are going to Bangkok together, to be able to put work aside to go Bangkok relaxing for a few days is such a joy.

Ever since the trip to Bangkok, don't feel like shopping in Singapore, not only because prices are steep in Singapore but also the lack of time, this is why while in Bangkok i bought without batting an eyelid, even to the cost of having body aches and starving myself, to let hubby accompany me, was tough on him, i should treat him to a big meal.

Talking about shopping i lose to my good friend shopping queen, you know who! not only good at asking for discount but also making full use of time, going many places, hope next time could go with her, by then i will follow her to pick up some skills haha! 03

Although this time there is no chance to join church camp, but my precious daughter gave me consolation, she bought me this present from Jusco, i love it, thank you baby. 0

Today is the first day of church camp. I sent daughter to church at 11.30am, also to see my friends, this time my hubby and i can't join because of work.

A few brothers and sisters have mistaken that i wanted to join last minute, after knowing that it wasn't, sister Laimei warmly invited me to join today, i am pleasantly surprised, has an impulse to want to return to take luggage.

Seeing everyone given a booklet, felt something like santa giving away presents, only i did not get it. 0

One box of sweets, this is what my sister gave on mothers' day, made me feel so sweet. Look! even the colour of sweets is so sweet looking, pink colour.

This is 2008 mothers' day present from my dearest daughter, i use it to put my favourite jewellery or hp, isn't it nice? she knows my fondness for collecting this type of art piece, feel so heart warming.

On the eve of mothers' day, my hubby invited me to Sakura. He knows that beside liking art piece i also like eating, so delighted, thank you my darling. 0
